Basic Policy on Information Security
Basic philosophy
Toyo Aluminium K.K. and its group companies (hereinafter referred to as the "Toyo Aluminium Group") have established and implemented a basic policy on information security to protect the confidentiality and integrity of all information assets of our stakeholders and ensure that such assets can be utilized in accordance with the progress of information technology, thereby contributing to the continuous and stable business operations of the Toyo Aluminium Group.
Compliance with laws, regulations and contracts
We comply with all laws, regulations, national guidelines, and other rules and regulations related to information security, as well as contractual requirements of our customers and suppliers.
Establishment of an information security management system
To protect and manage information assets and maintain and improve information security, we establish an information security management system and an emergency response system for security incidents. We assign a person in charge of information security and establish an information security promotion system.
Implementation of information security measures
We implement appropriate measures against foreseeable information security threats and strive to prevent information security incidents from occurring. Should an information security incident occur, we will respond promptly to prevent further damage and take steps to prevent recurrence.
Implementation of information security education and training
We ensure that all employees are aware of the importance of information security, raise awareness of their own responsibilities, and receive the education and training necessary for the proper use and management of information assets. We also provide awareness-raising initiatives for business contractors as needed.
Periodic evaluation and continuous improvement

Environmental Policy
- We establish and implement an environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard.
- We identify the environmental aspects of our business activities, products, and services, set environmental objectives and targets, and regularly review our environmental management system through committees consisting of representatives from each business site.
- We prevent environmental pollution and continuously improve our environmental management system through initiatives based on this Policy.
- We comply with legal requirements applicable to our business activities, products and services, as well as with accepted commitments related to the environmental aspects of the company.
- We address the environmental aspects of the company, particularly the green procurement of materials and products, and their sales, to the extent possible in a focused, technically and economically feasible manner.
- We ensure that the Policy is documented, made known to all persons working for or on behalf of the company, and disclosed to the public upon external request or as otherwise required.
